SPECTACULAR FOLIAGE!

Image
Welcome! Happy Sunday again. The house above is a B&B a short distance from where we live.  I thought today I would take you on a trip to the Poconos. Yesterday Roger and I took Lucky back up to his house high up on a mountain in the Poconos. My daughter, Judi, did not go to Florida with the rest of her family last week due to health issues. She has  an autoimmune disease that has affected her lungs and other parts of her body. It all started about 8 years ago.  Erick and the boys  will be arriving home tomorrow. Our trip up on the turnpike was made very enjoyable because of the spectacular foliage! Here in Bethlehem we are very blah and our leaves are already dead and falling off the trees. Anyway, we certainly enjoyed our leaf peeping trip!πŸ’– So, we left home, drove through our neighborhood to see if anyone had decorated for Fall, took a few pictures, and drove the hour or so up through the mountains and the Lehigh tunnel. I took most of the pictures from inside the moving car.

Happy Sunday!

Hello  there! I hope all is well with you and yours! 🎢This is the day that the Lord has made, Let us rejoice and be glad in it!🎢  Do you remember that chorus/round sung in Sunday School or even church sometimes? It's amazing the nostalgia that visits me at the strangest times. It's a beautiful day here in the mountains of Bethlehem. I just love Fall. 🍎🍎🍎🍎🍎🍎🍎🍎🍎🍎🍎🍎🍎🍎🍎🍎🍎🍎  I am  thankful today for: *I am thankful that we are not persecuted by fires as so many in the western part of the country are. I pray for them often.  * I am extremely thankful that we are all well. No positives for the virus. I pray that it stays that way and that my Mother's caregiver stays negative  because she has two other jobs now besides my mother's. Many of us are praying for the President and the First Lady, and those that have tested positive with them. * That I live in such a beautiful setting where I am never bored. I will be sad to leave here at the end of the month.  B

HAPPINESS IN EVERY DAY LIVING

Hello bloggy friends! This week I feel like concentrating  on how grateful I am for cooler temperatures and lovely weather.  I am content here at home in Bethlehem despite what is going on in in our weary country. The new normal isn't normal at all, is it? I read today that according to the CDC,  the majority of new  virus cases is among young people. I worry about my two granddaughters on college campuses. We are all worried about something. Praying about something that is on our minds or hardships we are experiencing. Happiness and contentment are relative to what we are going through right now. Or is it?  Is it possible to feel that despite our losses we are winners?  Yes, I do believe that.   MY EXPERIENCES But to get back to finding contentment and happiness in everyday living. Someone said happiness isn't a destination, it's a habit. We have to work at it.  Having said that, here is a little illustration.  Yesterday was just one of many really awesome weather days w
